First season: BBC AMERICA’s “Broadchurch,” centers on the investigation into the murder of a young boy in a British seaside town. Leading the investigation are two detectives – the strong yet compassionate local Detective Sergeant, Ellie Miller, and the by-the-book Detective Inspector Alec Hardy, Ellie’s newly appointed boss.
By circumstance they are partnered to solve the murder, keeping the newspapers from derailing the investigation and trying to prevent the crime from impacting tourism at the beach where the boy was murdered.

Welsh-born actor Matthew Rhys takes on the role of Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy in the TV adaptation of P.D. James 2011 novel. James’s story follows up Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, picking up six years after Darcy married Elizabeth Bennet, played by Anna Maxwell Martin. Jenna Coleman takes on the role of Elizabeth’s sister Lydia who shows up to the Pemberley estate unexpectedly, throwing things off kilter. Soon after Lydia’s arrival a murder takes place, setting off a trigger of events, revealing family secrets that had been safely tucked away.
